Channa Hatharasinghe is a physics special graduate from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with over 5 years of teaching experience for advanced level students. Until recently he worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the department of Physics of University Sri Jayewardenepura.
He was one of the 4 students who got selected for the CERN summer program in Geneva, Switzerland in 2019 from Sri Lanka. CERN, the European organization for nuclear research consists of the world's largest particle accelerator and its one of the most respected scientific research centers in the world.
Further he has conducted guest lectures in topics such as special theory of relativity and Quantum mechanics in multiple seminars to create an interest among A/L students for the real subject of 'Physics' that is outside the A/L syllabus.
